PHILOSOPHY
Our Lady of Consolation Academy is staffed by professionals united in a common purpose of Christian living and learning. The presence of Christ in the lives of faculty and students, defines and directs their aims, responsibilities, and privileges. This belief also enables them to communicate mutual trust and respect. In this faith community, we commit ourselves to the following goals and objectives:
to make known to each student the person and message of Christ and enable him/her to develop a Christian value system;
to create and maintain in the school a Christian community of Faith shared among teachers and students in a spirit of freedom and love;
to help students develop a spirit of prayer and worship as a foundation for a solid faith life;
to provide quality academic programs, current instructional activities and performing/fine arts;
to foster among students a willingness and ability to understand and love each other;
to assist students in acquiring a sense of responsibility for themselves, their families, their school, parish and community;
to encourage respect for authority and the exercise of good citizenship within the community; and
to foster social awareness and a vision of society through opportunities to reach out locally and globally. |  |
